Exceptional, extraordinary talent. He is a beautiful combination of Pete Maravich, Jason Williams, and Lamar Odom players that are in the hall of fame, have won championships, and who entertained. Lamelo at first glance, seems like he plays to loose, but in reality, he can play at his speed. He has more experience playing against various competition than anyone in the draft. His mental toughness is what sets him apart. Do not forget this is an 18-year-old traveling the world staying focused, competing against grown men, and doing it without losing his game. Going to phoenix allows him to learn behind Rubio for a year or two and then take over the point role. Phoenix and Lamelo are a match made in heaven.
